Within minutes of the Press Release announcing that Stoney Middleton School would remain open at 15.45 on Monday congratulations began pouring into the website which received 78 visits during the evening.

20.43 - Jeremy LOWE - Ex Pupil - Well done! Proves that hard work & dedication gets results - I am sure it would have been closed with a whimper were it not for a superb campaign.

23.13 - Cllrs Sue and Martin Burfoot (Liberal Democrat District and Matlock Town Council ) - What wonderful news, and a tribute to all the hours of work, meetings, demonstrations, etc, etc, which you have all put into your justified refusal to accept the bureaucrats' simplistic verdict on YOUR school. Well done and congratulations, but keep up the pressure.
