WE NEED A PARISH CLERK

Unfortunately our Parish Clerk has resigned and so Stoney Middleton Parish Council are wishing to appoint a PARISH CLERK/REPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER.

The Parish Council meets on the first Monday of each month with other occasional meetings.

The post is a for 30 hours per month, working from home, for which an allowance is paid.

The pay scale will be based on nationally agreed band LC1 point 15, (£16,054 pro rata) which is £8.344p per hour, subject to annual review.

Applicants must be computer literate, have administrative and bookkeeping experience and ideally possess a working knowledge of local government law and procedures. Training will be available.
