A623 Speed Limit Reduction Petition

Stoney Middleton Parish Council and Calver Parish Council have worked cooperatively to produce interrelated reports which set out the case for Derbyshire County Council (DCC) to rationalise the varying speed limits on the A623, through both villages. The submissions propose the implementation of a uniform 30mph limit with a 20mph zone along The Dale in Stoney Middleton.

The reports look at the safety, air quality and overall public health improvements which would be created and ask for safe crossing points and efficient traffic calming measures. The submission for Stoney Middleton is here SMPC Speed Restriction Report V2
