Bin Collections - 12th January 2021

Some of Serco’s crew members have tested positive for Covid and others are shielding. This unfortunately means that although Serco are working hard to make up the numbers, some scheduled collections have been missed today and there will be further impacts tomorrow.

The big message to residents is please leave out your containers for collection and the crews will get to you as soon as they can.

Recycling collections were not completed today in Alderwasley, Bolehill, Bonsall, Cromford, Matlock Bath, Whatstandwell and Slaley.

Road closures at West End, Wirksworth also meant that no collections have been completed in that area today.

Unfortunately the following rounds are unlikely to be out tomorrow:

• Garden and food waste collections in some streets in Matlock (including Chesterfield Road/Lime Tree Road area and some streets in Matlock Green).

• Garden and food waste collections in some streets in Grange Mill, Ible, Oker, Matlock, Riber, Starkholmes and Tansley.
