Stoney Middleton Parish Council arrangements during the Covid-19 Pandemic
In order to comply with the restrictions that are in place to protect lives and reduce the spread of the Coronavirus the following arrangements have been put in place:
The April meeting, due to be held on 6th April 2020 alongside the Annual Parish meeting, has been cancelled. However, both the Chair and Parish Clerk will publish annual reports on the SMPC website.
Minutes of the March meeting will also be published on the website and on the Parish notice board as normal. The Parish Clerk will produce and publish a summary of SMPC activity following on from the minutes including any actions, agreements and resolutions Councillors take (communicating via email). Arrangements are also in place to enable the Parish Clerk to fulfil SMPC’s financial obligations.
SMPC will await legal guidance regarding the May meeting as, nationally, this is the meeting where the Chair/Vice Chair are elected for the next 12 months. SMPC has also had to put on hold the progression of the Village Plan.
Please contact the Parish Clerk with any queries you may have and, most importantly, stay safe and well.
