Tales from Stoney Middleton

Following the success of the "Discover Stoney Middleton" book local author Graham

Armitage is now launching another literary project.

This is a book provisionally entitled "Tales from Stoney Middleton" and Graham is inviting local people to write about the village.

This can take the form of fiction or non-fiction work with the only requirement been that the"story" is based around Stoney in some way.

Personal recollections of events would be fine but so would fiction using Stoney as a background.

Graham says "I know there are already a number of people in the village who have already had written work published and I would love to hear from you if you are in this category but if you have never written a word in your life please have a go.

We are not trying to rival Shakespeare-just have some fun."
