Village Speed Limit

The Parish Council want Derbyshire County Council to make changes to the speed limits within the village; requesting a 30mph zone from Calver through the village to the layby, with a 20mph zone from the Moon Inn to the Lovers Leap and a 40-mph limit to the junction with Eyam.

Alongside the campaign with DCC the Parish Council want to engage with hauliers who regularly use the A623 to request that they ask their drivers to observe the speed limits the PC are requesting when passing through the village.

The PC need your help to identify as many haulage companies as possible.
